Production Manager

Job Description:

America In Motion is currently seeking to hire a Production Manager to join our team. The candidate will oversee the building process of the Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs). They will work with the AIM team to ensure smooth production from start to finish.​ 

​

Salary: Commensurate upon experience  

 

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

 

•    Internal interface regarding project progress, schedule, and related issues
•    Assisting in the preparation of the operational plans and providing support to all departments within the company
•    Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
•    Create and maintain comprehensive project scheduling and financial tracking documentation
•    Use and continually develop leadership and organizational skills
•    Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
•    Perform other related duties as assigned

 

 

Qualification:

 

•    5+ years of production management experience
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
•    Experience with production management software tools
•    Experience with manufacturing facilities preferred
•    Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule and inventory software preferred
•    Reacts quickly and effectively to project adjustments and alterations.
•    Ability to work with tight deadlines and troubleshoot production and design problems.
•    Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers
•    Flexible during times of change. Extended hours may be required to meet project deadlines.

America In Motion Inc. offers 30+ years' experience in the design, build and implementation of custom designed Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGVs). We focus on systems that provide automated material handling solutions featuring AGV technology, Robotics, and other forms of factory automation. 

 

AGVs are Vehicles similar to an electric forklift that drives by themselves. They are battery operated and computer controlled. Designed to carry 50 lbs up to 50,000 lbs.
