To manage the overall System Integration Group, with responsibility for scheduling of all projects and group personnel. Responsibility for overall performance on all projects, i.e. meeting milestone dates, meeting cost budgets, customer satisfaction resulting in good references for Transbotics, seeing opportunities for change orders, as well as Training and QA of all personnel in the group. This also includes yearly review of work performance and proposing salary raise / bonus for all personnel in the group.


  • Oversee all projects, and to ensure application-appropriate implementation of design, engineering tasks, software and equipment.

  • Oversee scheduling of all projects, milestones and personnel to maximize chargeability.

  • Review and setup all project milestones, and ensure that these are meet.

  • Review and setup all project budgets, and ensure that these are followed.

  • Interact with the Controls Group and the Automation Product Group to ensure goals are meet and the engineering solutions is appropriate for each project.

  • Ensure that all projects are completed with a high degree of customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure that change orders are offered and sold when required to increase project revenue. This also includes focusing on reducing Transbotics cost when an change order opportunity occurs.

  • Oversee quality of workmanship and application of know-how for all personnel in the group. This includes yearly review of work performance and proposing salary raise / bonus opportunities for personnel.




  • BS,MS Eng. or Equ. 

  • 5 years min. engineering work experience 

  • Personnel management and knowledge of basic engineering and manufacturing principles 

  • Knowledge of common financial business practices for internal presentation of costs, revenues, chargeability, and % complete

  • Knowledge of common return on investment models and financial benefits for presentation to customers

  •  Ability to conceptualize and implement new designs within deadlines and on budget. 

  • Must be able to communicate concepts and goals to customers, employees and management

  • Highly organized and can work with multiple projects at a time.

  • Flexible during times of change. Extended hours may be required to meet project deadlines.



  • Attend project kick-off meetings, and assume overall responsibility for each project.

  • Review and setup all project budgets.

  • Instigating and Running periodic project review meetings while work is in progress.

  • Come up with solutions to issues or problems that may occur during the course of a project.

  • Write project review report upon project completion.

  • Keep up to date and improve procedures for all project work.

  • Propose improvements of Transbotics products to the Controls Development and Automation Product Groups.

Skills Required 


  • Understanding of materials handling equipment, the benefits and detailed operation.

  • Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and software functions.

  • Working knowledge of Solidworks

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products

  • Working knowledge of MS Project

  • Working knowledge of PLC programming

  • Knowledge of Common business practices for budgeting and ROI calculations

  • Comprehensive knowledge of contracts, terms & conditions and definition of scope of supply.
